We are thrilled to introduce you to the newest member of our staff who's role it is to keep our customers entertained and in line. He is Cooper - named after 3 famous Coopers; first we have Leo Cooper (Jilly Coopers husband) who visits us daily, then we have Cooper on some of our barrells and lastly for Henrey Cooper - as our canine friend has 4 white 'gloves'.

Every pub needs a Pub Dog, so it seemed appropriate now that we are settled in to correct this ommission. Steve is in charge of his training, and took him to the puppy training classes himself. Of course Cooper thought this was a great party, spent the whole time leaping about sniffing everyone's bottoms and learnt absolutely nothing! Not that Mo has much more success, as Cooper just hides under the table legs to avoid being caught and sent back upstairs.

Cooper is a rather gorgeous 11 week old collie-labrador puppy, so pop in for a stroke when you get the chance - perhaps you could help us to train him too!!
